Production line analysis in Zaragoza
Is your line not delivering what it should, and nobody is quite sure why? We analyse how your machines and lines actually run to find where time is lost: bottlenecks, micro-stoppages, waiting between machines, slow changeovers or poorly optimised sequences.
You will not get a generic report: we measure, explain what we found and propose specific improvements, ranked by impact and cost.
OUR LINE ANALYSIS SERVICE
OEE measurement
Availability, performance and quality of each machine or the whole line, so you know how much is lost and where.
Bottlenecks
We identify the machine that limits output and how it affects the rest of the line.
Micro-stoppages and cycle times
We analyse the short stops that are never logged but add up to hours, and the cycles that can be shortened.
Alarm analysis
We study the alarm history to find recurring faults and their root cause.
Improvement plan
A prioritised proposal: program tweaks, sequence changes, sensors, revamping or training.
Follow-up
Once the improvements are in place, we measure again to confirm the result.
DOES ANY OF THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
- Actual output is far below the theoretical figure and you do not know why.
- One machine always seems to be the culprit, but there is no data to prove it.
- You are about to expand the line and want to know whether the problem is capacity or operation.
- Micro-stoppages and manual resets are part of everyday life.
Technology we work with
FROM FIRST VISIT TO COMMISSIONING
-
01
Assessment
We visit your plant, look at the machine and any existing documentation, and listen to what you need to achieve.
-
02
Proposal
We send you the scope, timeline and quote in writing, so you know exactly what you will get.
-
03
Execution
We develop and test as much as possible before touching production, working around your planned stoppages.
-
04
Commissioning
We start up with you on site, train your staff and stay available for whatever comes up.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is OEE?
Overall Equipment Effectiveness. It combines availability (how long the machine runs), performance (how fast) and quality (how many good parts come out), and shows how much is lost and where.
Do you need to install anything on the machine?
Not always. Often the PLC already holds the data we need and we just have to read it. If information is missing, we propose the least intrusive way to obtain it.
How long does an analysis take?
It depends on the size of the line and the data available. We usually combine several days of data collection in real production with the analysis afterwards; the exact timeline is in the proposal.
What if the answer is to replace the machine?
We will tell you honestly. But the improvement often lies in the program, the sequence or the maintenance, and is much cheaper.
